Before 3 p.m. on Oct. 16, police and emergency crews responded to the northbound lanes of the interstate near MD-175, where there was a reported crash that blocked several lanes.

As of 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, traffic was only getting by in the left lane and shoulder as crews worked to remove the vehicle from the middle of the roadway.

Delays were estimated to be approximately four miles, though traffic began clearing up at around 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday once a tow truck removed the vehicle to the side of the road.

No information about possible injuries were initially released.
